I am a Consultant Paediatrician with experience in all general paediatric problems. I have developed special experience and expertise in:
These have developed from taking a holistic, child centred approach to the practice of paediatrics. Believing that a good history and examination will often make tests and investigations unnecessary.
I graduated from St George’s Hospital, London in 1989 and started work in Paediatrics in 1990, training at various London hospitals - including Great Ormond Street Hospital. I was appointed Consultant Paediatrician in West Hertfordshire in 1999 and am registered with the General Medical Council
I am happy to see all children, but I can not make diagnoses on developmental problems such as Autism, ADHD or specific learning difficulties.
review Good Doctor.com
"Very friendly, always smiling and takes his time for his patient even when he is very busy. dr. Cohn is a great doctor--I've been seeing him for many years and he always has a positive attitude and has the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. The office is well organised so he is generally on time. Unbelievably friendly, professional and talented paediatrician that will walk through all your concerns and options with you. "

My son was a patient of Dr Cohn (or Dr Poo as we refered to him behind his back). A truly remarkable Dr who within minutes of us seeing him for the first time reassured us we were not alone. Within 5 minutes i learnt more about stool witholding than all the trips to the GP and careworkers before. within 10 minutes we had reviewed my sons medication and within 2 hours i was changing a stinking nappy!
I was lucky enough to have the Doc in our NHS area, I have not read this book but imagine that it will be the next best thing to a visit to Dr Poo.
